TechFlow Scientific Division, located in Albuquerque NM, has a part-time to full-time contingent position for a Google Cloud Platform Web Developer with experience developing capabilities using Google cloud-based services. This contingent effort is to support a US Government pilot project focused on investigating the potential to utilize the Google Cloud Platform as a replacement option for a currently fielded web application and interactive, semantic-wiki database and collaboration tool set. Leveraging Google’s cloud-based, FedRAMP certified services offers the potential to increase capabilities over the fielded system, improve usability issues, and reduce life-cycle costs associated with system improvement and post-deployment sustainment.
Duties and Task Requirements:
Developer(s) supporting this effort will need experience in dissecting current system operational requirements, functional specifications and implementation designs, and determining options for replicating the current system in a Google cloud-based system. Candidates should possess strong technical and communication skills to support the team investigating design options for the pilot project. Investigations will culminate in developing and substantiating recommendations of which system functionality which could be rapidly developed into a prototype tool set and completing conceptual deigns to migrate the entire system into a Google cloud environment maximizing the use of FedRAMP certified Google services and applications.
Following completion prototype design functionality decisions, developers will complete development of a blended a mix of fully documented design concepts and a functioning prototype to be demonstrated and evaluated by the sponsoring Government Agency.
